Where’s my cheerleader?

Went for a wog today. It has been awhile. A long while. Last time I “ran” was on a treadmill at Snap Fitness for thirty minutes. It did not go well.

The wog today was painful. Emotionally and physically. My glutes were tight, my shins ached from the get go. The lungs were heavy and I was mentally unprepared.

I figured it is like starting over.

All over.

I looked up a check list for a couch to 5K program. First week for 25 minutes three times a week you walk for 4 minutes and jog for 1 minute. Sounded simple enough.

Nope.

I have found that when I hold my phone with the timer on and am moving my arms I can not see how long it has been. I accidentally hit stop on the timer and had no idea how long I had been walking. My phone locks after not using it for a few minutes and I would have to type in my password to see where the timer was at. This was an epic fail.

I have decided I can’t do this on my own. I need someone to wog with with me. I need a cheerleader. Everyone needs a cheerleader. I just need mine to run with me at the same time.

    I was wondering where you’ve been!! I’d wog with you if you lived in Lake Stevens!! But I can’t wog for 4 minutes straight, at a time, ugh, breathless… I would need like 2 to 3 minutes just to catch my breath!! Can you do like 4:2? Or 4:3… I like the 4:3 better. 🙂 Okay, just keep going… the clock is ticking for you to get your revenge!!

      I have been living (wogging) vicariously through your blog!!! I would love a partner… sadly I know people who are real runners and I can’t keep up or people who only want to walk…. something will have to give if I want to get my revenge…. which by the way is now TWO people that need to be destroyed by my determination!!! have fun tapering this week..
